The Role:
This job is based out of our Huntly Factory – AB54 4PS.
To support the effective and efficient operation of the Packing area by accurately packing cabin components in line with company quality, safety, and operational standards. The role ensures all products are securely prepared for dispatch to other sites or customers and that the warehouse area is maintained in an organised and compliant condition at all times.
Role Overview:
- Feed raw timber stock into machinery including the 6-headed moulder, bandsaw, and multi-rip saw, ensuring safe and correct operation.
- Operate saws such as cross-cut and mitre saws to cut timber to specified lengths in line with job requirements.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively as part of daily production tasks.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to stack machined timber neatly and safely.
- Accurately complete job cards and other documentation to record daily production data.
- Perform basic quality checks to ensure all finished products meet company and customer standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in accordance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Assist with other production duties as directed by supervisors to support the smooth running of operations.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and company policies consistently to maintain production efficiency and quality.
