We are currently looking to employ a CNC Operator.

This job is based out of our Gosberton site – PE11 4HG.  The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery used in the processing and manufacturing of Garden products. This role ensures accurate, efficient, and safe production of components in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

 

Job includes:

  • Set up, program (where required), and operate CNC routers/machining centres for material processing
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
  • Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to ensure quality output
  • Interpret technical drawings, cutting lists, and job specifications
  • Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy, finish, and dimensional compliance
  • Identify and report defects, machine faults, or material issues
  • Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
  • Minimise waste and optimise material usage
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas
  • Report maintenance requirements and assist with breakdown resolution

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Timber experience

Desirable:

  • Forklift License

  • Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:30 and Friday 07:30 – 13:30
  • 29 days holiday including Bank Holidays
  • £12.70 p/h
