*         Assist with the processing of timber through saws, planers, and other mill machinery.

*         Load, stack, and sort timber products according to size, grade, or customer requirements.

*         Feed materials into machines and support operators with setup and basic adjustments.

*         Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting, moving, and organising timber.

*         Inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are maintained.

*         Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free work area.

*         Follow safe working procedures at all times, including correct use of PPE.

*         Report equipment faults, damaged materials, or safety concerns to supervisors.

*         Support other production areas of the mill when required (e.g., bundling, yard work, loading).

*         Assist with basic housekeeping and maintenance tasks around the mill.
