The Role:

This job is based out of our Huntly Factory – AB54 4PS.

The role is to support the efficient and safe operation of the timber production area by accurately processing raw timber stock and producing finished components to the required quality standards. The role ensures all production tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures, contributing to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the timber production team.

Role Overview:

  • Feed raw timber stock into machinery including the 6-headed moulder, bandsaw, and multi-rip saw, ensuring safe and correct operation.
  • Operate saws such as cross-cut and mitre saws to cut timber to specified lengths in line with job requirements.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively as part of daily production tasks.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to stack machined timber neatly and safely.
  • Accurately complete job cards and other documentation to record daily production data.
  • Perform basic quality checks to ensure all finished products meet company and customer standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in accordance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Assist with other production duties as directed by supervisors to support the smooth running of operations.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and company policies consistently to maintain production efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 and Friday 07:30 - 13:30
