The Role:
This job is based out of our Bedford Branch – MK41 0LF and involves supporting the UK-wide Transport Management team to ensure safe, legal and efficient practises.
Role Overview:
- Monitoring daily transport activity across all sites, ensuring compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Monitoring branch record keeping and conducting audits, both remote and on site.
- Reviewing and Creating transport policies, procedures, and guides.
- Management of transport systems (license checking, telematics etc.)
- Maintaining regular reports (vehicle incidents, driving offences, fuel usage etc.)
- Involvement in Vehicle Incident Investigation and liaising with our Insurance Broker.
- Provide general administrative support to the Transport Management team.
Requirements:
2:1 or above in a relevant degree
Driving Licence
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Willing to learn and understand legal frameworks
Experience with Drivers Hours Regulations and Vehicle Roadworthiness
Excellent attention to detail
Computer Literate
What We Offer:
- Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:30.
